Maria Avers

Maria Avers, RN, MNSE

Director

Maria Avers, RN, MSNE serves as the director and administrator for Stillwater Medical Center Home Health Services. As an employee of Stillwater Medical Center, she has held positions in home health since 1992. She truly believes in the mission of Stillwater Medical Center providing compassionate care in a cost-effective way and the home health mission of keeping the patient as independent and safe as possible in the best care setting possible. In her life outside of home care, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, especially her husband and her grandchildren, and square dancing.

Jamie Barrett

Jamie Barrett, RN

Case Manager

Jamie holds a BS in nursing from Langston University. She is a skilled clinician and cares deeply for each of her patients. She desires to help each of them get better as quickly as possible. She lives northwest of Ripley with her family, cats, dog, chickens, cows and 4 donkeys. She truly enjoys her cats, both in real life and as décor. Jamie loves being a part of the home health team and has been taking care of her our patients since 1995.

Bonnie Campis

Bonnie Campis, RN

Clinical Manager

Bonnie serves as the clinical manager at Stillwater Medical Home Health Services. She oversees day-to-day operations, takes referrals and orders from referral sources and physician offices. She helps to answer patient and staff questions. She is a skilled clinician that desires to care for the patients to the best of her ability every day. She is the core nurse that the agency relies on to manage day-to-day activities and serve as a clinical resource.

Dana Carroll

Dana Carroll, RN

Dana has been a nurse since 2011. She was an LPN for 5 years but decided to return back to school for her Registered Nursing License. Stillwater Medical Home Health has been fortunate enough to have her work in our department since January 2014. She has learned various roles but loves being in the field working with patients the most. Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children.

Barbara Dobson

Barbara Dobson, RN

Barbara enjoys sharing her knowledge of their medical conditions with her patients and assisting them in the healing process so they can return to optimal health. She finds home health nursing rewarding as she is able to connect with patients and encourage them as they heal. She enjoys being a wife, mother of 3, and “Nannabanana” to her grandson and looking forward to more in the future. Traveling and attending concerts with family and friends help her to live her life to the fullest. She has never met a stranger and has enjoyed her journey at SMC while gaining knowledge as a surgery nurse, staff nurse, and wound care nurse prior to home care. She is thrilled to be part of the SMC home health team that helps patients work to improve their well-being.

Case Manager

Bonnie has recently been trained as a case manager at Stillwater Medical Home Health. She is an experienced Home Health Nurse and will make sure you are taken care of. She has been an incredible asset by bringing her past experiences to help us continue to improve. Bonnie enjoys watching and being with her kids and grandkids.

Meghan Jones-Crawford

Meghan Jones-Crawford, LPN

Intake Nurse & Telehealth Coordinator

Meghan Crawford joined the SMC Home Health team in January 2020. She has been an LPN since 2001, working in long term-care and assistive living before coming to SMC. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband, their five children and their families, including one granddaughter. Meghan, her husband, and their children spend their time creating tree houses, rafting in their creek, and having adventures in their backyard. Meghan grew up in Perkins but now lives in the middle of nowhere…near Yale.

Amy Munoz

Amy has been a nurse for about 5 years, two of which have been in home health. She cares deeply about helping those in her care get the help they need. When not at work she likes spending time with her family, riding her bike/walking, and playing fetch with her dog, Chica.

Jeanne Campbell

Jeanne Campbell, RN, IBCLC

Jeanne takes care of the infant population of Stillwater Medical Center Home Health, she has been a nurse with SMC since 1984. In 1996, the Women and Infant Skilled Home Health (WISHH) program was started to meet the needs of infants transitioning home that needed some extra TLC. Jeanne is the lead nurse who also provides pre-assessments for mothers about to deliver, lactation assistance while in the hospital, breastfeeding classes to pregnant moms, and then follows with home health visits as needed. She truly works across the continuum of the childbirth experience. Jeanne is a Certified Lactation Consultant.

Nutrition Services

Megan Kelly

Megan Kelly

Dietician

Megan grew up in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area and moved to Stillwater in 2016 to pursue a graduate degree in nutrition at OSU. She began working at Stillwater Medical Center as a Registered Dietician in December 2018. She enjoys the variety of her workload as she gets to work with Home Health, Our Daily Bread, inpatients and outpatients in Stillwater and Perry, and other community organizations to provide nutrition care and education. In her spare time, she likes to play the flute in the Stillwater Community Band, spend time with her two cats, read, cook, and enjoy time with loved ones.

Stephanie Bennett

Stephanie Bennett, PT

Stephanie provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment to promote the highest level of functioning in daily life. She has extensive experience in spinal cord and rehab treatments and care. Stephanie encourages patients to maximize their potential. In her busy home life, she is a wife and mother. She enjoys numerous activities with her family. She is an avid gardener and reader. Stillwater Medical Center Home Health patients are very fortunate to be treated by this dynamic therapist.

Abby O'Dell

Abby O’Dell, ST

Speech-Language Pathologist

Abby is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Oklahoma. She graduated with her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University in 2015, and has worked for Stillwater Medical since that time. Abby has experience working with both adult and pediatric populations in outpatient rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, hospital, home health care, and private practice settings. She is experienced to provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments for swallowing, speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communicative impairments. In her free time she volunteers with her therapy dog, Annee, to provide comfort, companionship, and joy to others. Abby also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the lake, gardening, and cooking.

Michelle Hoerning

Michelle Ratzlaff, PT, COS-C

Physical Therapist

Michelle has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist in a variety of settings. She graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin. She spent 11 of those 20 years in the hospital setting working with a variety of patient populations in acute, rehab, outpatient, and skilled, and she has nearly 15 years of experience in home health. Interests include vestibular rehab, total joint replacements, and debility in the geriatric population. Michelle enjoys traveling and going to sporting events with her husband, Trey; spending time with their 3 children; singing and being active in her church.

Pamela Murphy

Pamela Murphy, MS

Social Services

Pam provides medical social services under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker to provide our patients with community resources and other supportive services as needed. She also provides short-term counseling to improve the patient’s emotional/behavioral health and assist with meeting the goals of the treatment plan. She enjoys meeting a variety of patients and their families and helping them meet their social and emotional needs. Stillwater Medical Home Health is blessed to have Pam as our advocate for our patients' emotional and behavioral needs.

Trey Ratzlaff

Trey Ratzlaff, PTA

Physical Therapy Assistant

Trey has been a physical therapist assistant for Stillwater Medical Home Health for 20+ years. Previously he worked on the rehab unit at SMC, the acute floors at SMC, and Total Health at SMC. Trey’s vast experience has led him to excel in the role of physical therapy assistant in the home health world. Trey has the ability to place patients at ease and motivate them to progress to the best of their ability. Stillwater Medical Center Home Health Services receive many compliments from his patients. Trey enjoys playing golf, traveling, and watching OSU sporting events.

April Shelton

April Shelton, PT

Physical Therapist

April has been a physical therapist for 30+ years. She has worked for Stillwater Medical Home Health since September 2020. Previously, she has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, work conditioning, inpatient rehab, pediatrics in school settings and home health. She has been a physical therapy supervisor in two different rural hospitals and one outpatient clinic. She found her love working in home health and has now worked in home health for the past 20 years. Her combined experience has prepared her for assisting patients to become as independent as they can in a comfortable setting and prevent a decline in their abilities so they can stay in their homes safely. She strives to treat her patients as she would her own family. April is married with two grown children who are both married. She enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and being with family.

Ciera Whitmore

Ciera Whitmore, OTR/L, COS-C

Occupational Therapist

Ciera is an occupational therapist for Stillwater Medical Center Home Health. She has been working here since 2014 after graduating with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Ciera has wanted to be an occupational therapist since the fourth grade and enjoys working with her patients to get them back to daily activities that are meaningful and important to them. In addition to her work, Ciera also volunteers for the American Occupational Therapy Association as the Oklahoma Representative and assists with conference planning with the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association. She lives in Coyle, OK, with her husband and 2 sons. She and her husband also farm and have recently opened a store to sell their produce directly from the farm.
