Jimmy Bui, DO
Jimmy Bui, DO is the Emergency Department and Hospitalist Medical Director and has served patients at Stillwater Medical – Perry since 2016. Dr. Bui completed his residency from Corpus Christi Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Before that, he attended University of Oklahoma in Norman for his undergraduate studies and completed Medical School at Oklahoma State University College of Medicine in Tulsa. Dr. Bui is a member of several organizations and medical societies, including American Osteopathic Association, American College of Physicians, and Th e American Medical Association. Dr. Bui is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He maintains additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Jim Knecht, DO
Jim Knecht, DO works both in the Emergency Department and as a hospitalist at Stillwater Medical – Perry. Until a few years ago, he also served the community in a Family Practice clinic that he joined 36 years ago! Dr. Knecht has served the community and hospital in Perry as the Chief of Staff at the hospital, as well as the Medical Director of Physician Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy. He has also held positions as the Medical Director of Noble County Health Department, Medical Director of the Perry Fire Department/EMS, and the Noble County Coroner. Dr. Knecht now splits his time between being semi-retired in Santa Barbara, California, and working at Stillwater Medical – Perry. When at home in Santa Barbara, Dr. Knecht spends most of his time outdoors, where he is an avid bicycler.
Jamie Knecht, DO
Jamie Knecht, DO is an Emergency Department and Hospitalist physician at Stillwater Medical – Perry. She was born and raised in Perry, and has served the patients of that community since completing her training in 2015. When not taking care of patients, Dr. Knecht enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking, running, and SCUBA diving. Dr. Knecht completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York in 2015. St. Barnabas Hospital treats approximately 100,000 patients per year, and is Level 1 Trauma Center and a STEMI Center. Dr. Knecht is also holds several certifications, specifrically Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
