Dr. Joshua Chitwood was raised in Little Rock, AR, and attended Samford University, graduating in 2016. He then went on to the OU-Tulsa School of Community Medicine where he graduated from medical school in 2021 and completed a year of General Surgery then pursued Internal Medicine. While in medical school, Dr. Chitwood started an ultrasound education course to teach non-invasive ultrasound techniques to physician assistants and medical students.

He is involved in medical education and quality improvement. His interests include Internal Medicine and Cardiology. In his spare time, he loves to bake, read, and draw. After living in the Tulsa area for the last nine years, he is excited to join our Stillwater community.
