Dr. J. Jordan Stivers is a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in Accounting. During his undergraduate years, he worked part time as a medical technician at OrthoOklahoma. His time working as a member of the OrthoOklahoma team sparked his interest in medicine and orthopedic surgery.

He was accepted at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and after 4 years of medical school, he served as the Commencement Speaker at his class’s graduation. He received the Class of 2017’s Dean’s Award, which is awarded by faculty/staff to the graduate who best exemplifies the principles which characterize an outstanding physician. He matched into an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at one of the country’s top orthopedic training programs, Washington University in St. Louis. During his training, he was exposed to a wide variety of orthopedic pathology and approaches to surgical management, including robotic techniques for total joint arthroplasty, as well as novel surgical approaches with leaders in the field of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Stivers completed his residency training in June of 2022, and is thrilled to be heading back to Stillwater, where his passion for Orthopedic Surgery began!

Dr. Stivers enjoys spending time with his family and is a father of two. Daughter, Josie, and son, Beau, keep he and wife, Megan, busy. He enjoys playing music with family, golf, and Oklahoma State Football.
