Dr. Jeffrey Wang grew up in both Taiwan and Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Afterward, he continued his virology research project for an additional year as a research associate. He then enrolled in the MD/PhD program at Louisiana State University's Health Sciences Center in New Orleans for his medical school and postgraduate training. His doctoral thesis was on Asthma signaling pathways and signaling mechanisms, as well as related experimental therapeutics in an animal model. After graduation, he completed 3 years of general surgery training. Deciding that he was better suited for Internal Medicine with his disposition, talents, and experiences, he embarked on a new chapter in Stillwater.

Though he's yet to finalize his focus within Internal Medicine, Dr. Wang is leaning toward specialization, particularly in Cardiology or Gastroenterology. Beyond medicine, he finds joy in reading the Bible, exploring new destinations, casually watching sports/gaming, and honing his culinary skills.
