Purpose
The role of Cimarron Medical Services (CMS) within the healthcare team is to provide home medical equipment services and supplies to enable individuals, from newborns to the elderly, to receive care in the privacy and comfort of their own homes. Our staff of professionals is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition from hospitals or doctor’s offices to home by providing home delivery and setup of needed equipment, with instruction in its use, operations, and maintenance.
Insurance
CMS will file directly to Private Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or Worker’s Compensation for your convenience, and we accept assignments on many services to help ease the financial burden on the client and family. Please ask about CMS’s participation in numerous managed care plans.
Equipment and Supplies
The equipment and supplies carried by CMS are of the highest quality and durability. After-hours emergency service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in order to meet emergency needs that may arise and provide peace of mind for our clients.
CMS is owned and managed as a department by Stillwater Medical Center, ensuring high standards of quality and personal attention. CMS is bonded, insured, and accredited by ACHC, an organization that accredits healthcare organizations nationwide for the maintenance of superior standards of care and services. We are members of the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, The MEDgroup, RESNA, OMEPA, NRRTS, and the VGM Group.

Durable Medical Equipment
Durable medical equipment (DME) is equipment that is primarily and customarily used to serve a medical purpose, can withstand repeated use, and is appropriate for use in the home. Some examples of DME include hospital beds, lift chairs, walkers, and wheelchairs.

Our technicians are on call 24/7 (for most services) to assist you with your needs. We also provide delivery to and set up in the comfort of your home.

Mobility Equipment

They can help you in assessing the appropriate mobility equipment that will meet your individual needs. Mobility equipment can span from manual wheelchairs, power scooters, standard power wheelchairs, or even custom manual or power chairs. Custom seating and/or positioning needs can be addressed by our staff as well.
Enteral Nutrition
Enteral nutrition formulas are used as nutritional replacements for patients who are unable to get enough nutrients in their diet. These formulas are taken by mouth, pumps, and feeding tubes. Nutritional formulas are used by the body for energy and to form substances needed for normal body functions throughout the day.
