Dr. Alfonso Acosta was raised in Fort Myers, Florida, and graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. He had a gap year between undergraduate and medical school, which he used to work as a substitute teacher. He then graduated medical school from Des Moines University in Iowa.

Dr. Acosta moved to Stillwater with his partner, Alex, and their dog Zoey. He is incredibly excited about the opportunity to continue his medical career in Stillwater. He is unsure if he would like to specialize in the future but is eager to experience all that medicine offers. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games on his computer.
