No parent should feel the need to choose between expert medical care and a warm, supportive community environment – and we are committed to both. Our team of pediatricians offers a wide variety of pediatric health services right here, so fewer families have to travel long distances for comprehensive pediatric care. In addition to comprehensive care, we have a pediatric cardiologist who visits our clinic regularly to treat our patients who need more advanced care.
From prenatal consultations, preventative care, pediatric cardiology, acute illness, and any chronic physical or developmental conditions – from infancy through adolescence –Stillwater Pediatrics is your devoted partner in your children’s healthcare.

How often should my child see the pediatrician?
For most children, well child checks usually happen at newborn visit, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months and 36 months. After 3 years of age, well child checks occur annually. Some chronic (long-term) health conditions, like asthma or ADHD, require more frequent follow-up. Visits for acute illnesses or any other concerns– growth, development, behavior– should also be scheduled with a child’s pediatrician. Visiting your child’s primary care provider whenever possible allows for continuity of care and appropriate follow up.

What if I just need some advice and not really an appointment?
Our clinic Triage Nurse is available to help answer your questions during regular business hours at (405) 743-7262.

What do I do if my child has a medical problem and the office is closed?
If your child has a life threatening emergency, we recommend you call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. If you child does not have a life threatening situation but still needs urgent care, we recommend you take your child to the SMPC Urgent Care on 6th street or call our after hours nurse triage number (405) 743-7375.
