Welcome to the Stillwater Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program in Stillwater, Oklahoma!

It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I welcome you to the Stillwater Medical Internal Medicine Residency Program. We are delighted that you are considering our program for your medical training and professional development.

Nestled in the heart of Oklahoma, Stillwater offers a unique blend of a thriving medical community and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.   • Affiliation with OSU and Rotation at OU: Stillwater Medical Internal Medicine Residency Program is proud to be an affiliate of Oklahoma State University (OSU), with select rotations that occur at the VA and the University of Oklahoma. This unique affiliation offers our residents access to the fellowship programs at major university programs with exceptional opportunities for growth and specialization.

Application Information

Applicants will be considered only when they complete an application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for the upcoming application year. Completed applications are reviewed and candidates are notified when there is sufficient information to offer an interview. Interview days are granted to qualified candidates. Applications must include:

  • MyEras application
  • Medical school transcript
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Personal Statement
  • USMLE or COMPLEX-USA transcripts
  • We participate in the NRMP match

Current seniors or graduates of an LCME-approved medical school (or osteopathic equivalent) or an international graduate with a valid ECFMG certificate and valid visa or permanent resident status are eligible to apply. We do NOT sponsor visas at this time. Applicants must be within five years of completion of medical school to be considered for a position. All appointments for residency are subject to the ability to obtain an unrestricted Oklahoma medical license.
