Dr. Olivia Moore is an accomplished physician specializing in anesthesiology with a strong foundation in medicine and research. She is completed her residency in 2024 at the Kansas University School of Medicine’s Anesthesiology Residency Program in Wichita, Kansas, where she served as Chief Resident for the 2023–2024 academic year. Her residency training included rotations at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, a Level I Trauma and Burn Center, and Wesley Medical Center, which houses a Level I Trauma Center and Level III NICU.
Dr. Moore earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. Prior to that, she graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University’s Honors College in 2016, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Cell, and Molecular Biology.
Dr. Moore is board-certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
An active member of professional organizations, Dr. Moore participates in the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association. She has also mentored medical students through the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Medical Student Mentor Program.
Dr. Moore is passionate about advancing medical knowledge through research. She has presented her work at the Midwest Anesthesia Residents’ Conference, where she earned first place in the Critical Care category in 2022. Her research on the locked-in presentation of Guillain-Barré Syndrome following SARS-COVID-19 infection was published in the Kansas Journal of Medicine.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Dr. Moore is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of anesthesiology through leadership, research, and mentorship.
