Transportation Services

Cimarron Transit:

  Saturday dialysis transports only. Can transport anywhere in OK from these counties.

Cherokee Strip Transit

OSU-Stillwater Community Transit (BUS)

OSU-Para Transit

Wheatheart Nutrition Project, Inc. prepares and serves congregate and home bound meals in an eight-county area. Purpose of the project is to serve midday meals to persons aged 60 or older, promote social activities, support services, and to provide outreach information and referral on topics of interest to senior citizens. Nutrition education and counseling

COEED Area Agency on Aging Respite
Voucher Program
Services: State and federally funded program
that provides financial assistance to full-time, inhome family caregivers in the form of vouchers
that can be used to pay for respite care so the
caregiver can take a break.

voucher application.
If caring for someone under the age of 60, call
Lifespan at 405-521-4358. The approval process
takes several weeks, depending on availability
of funding.

Advantage Services (OKDHS)

housekeeping, case management.
Qualifications: The ADvantage Program of the Home-and
Community-Based Services provides Medicaid services to
help people stay at home instead of going to a nursing
home. The program assists frail elders and adults who have
physical disabilities. A person must first qualify for Medicaid,
a low income service, prior to receiving ADvantage.
