Advanced Care with Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy
Stillwater Medical now offers Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy, an advanced, minimally invasive technology that enables our doctors to reach deep into the lungs with great accuracy, allowing them to find and biopsy small nodules with precision.
If a spot (also called a nodule or mass) is found on your lung, your doctor may recommend a biopsy to check for cancer or other conditions. Ion uses a thin, flexible tube with a camera to navigate into hard-to-reach areas of your lungs while giving your doctor a clear, direct view. This helps us safely collect tissue samples for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
