About me

Dr. Daniel Roton is a dedicated Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist proudly serving his hometown of Stillwater, Oklahoma. A 2008 graduate of Stillwater High School, Daniel’s passion for healthcare was sparked after a high school football injury led him to experience physical therapy firsthand. This pivotal moment ignited his interest in medicine, ultimately guiding him toward a career dedicated to patient care.

Daniel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma, where he discovered his academic strength in human physiology and biochemistry. Encouraged by his professors, he pursued medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he spent 11 years completing his medical degree, internal medicine residency, and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care. His experience in the ICU deepened his commitment to providing compassionate care for critically ill patients, leading him to specialize in pulmonology.

Dr. Roton is passionate about addressing the community’s unmet healthcare needs. He is spearheading the development of a comprehensive lung cancer program, utilizing advanced technology like the Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy system to improve early diagnosis and treatment. Beyond lung cancer care, he treats patients with COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and other respiratory conditions. Outside of medicine, Daniel enjoys spending time with his children and hiking, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and trekked the Swiss Alps.
