Priya Krishnamurthy, MD

Dr. Priya Krishnamurthy, MD, MPH, is a distinguished Endocrinologist with a focus on Clinical Endocrinology and Lifestyle Medicine. Practicing since 2007, Dr. Krishnamurthy integrates Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Public Health to provide a comprehensive approach to endocrine care. She brings over 30 years of medical expertise, having graduated from the University of Delhi in 1990, followed by six years of residency, including a dual residency in Internal and Preventive Medicine at Yale University’s Yale/Griffin Program in Connecticut. She also earned a Master of Public Health from Yale School of Epidemiology and Public Health.

Following her residencies, Dr. Krishnamurthy completed a three-year endocrinology research fellowship through the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. She then served as Medical Director of the University of Maryland’s Joslin Diabetes Center satellite program. In 2010, she moved to Oregon, initially joining a group practice before founding her own solo practice, Premier Endocrinology Associates, in 2015. She relocated to southern Utah in 2021 to lead an innovative endocrine practice at Vista Health Care in St. George, where she practiced until October 2024.

Dr. Krishnamurthy’s practice emphasizes personalized care, focusing on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction through a holistic approach that addresses hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, lifestyle, and preventive aspects of disease. Her professional interests span clinical practice, research, healthcare delivery models, teaching, public speaking, mentorship, and thought leadership. She has served as an industry speaker and consultant and has specialized expertise in autoimmune thyroid disease, hypothyroidism, osteoporosis, menopause management, metabolic syndrome, and cardiovascular disease risk reduction.
