Mohan Edupuganti, M.D.

Dr. Mohan Edupuganti, known to staff and patients as Dr. E, graduated from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India. He worked as a registrar in Cardiology at the Nizams Institute of Hyderabad before pursuing higher training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Australia.

Dr. E completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular diseases and Interventional cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Since 2019, he has been providing Oklahomans with value-based “state-of-the-art care.”

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, General and Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear cardiology, Dr. E serves as an assistant professor and core member of the Interventional Cardiology faculty at Oklahoma University. He also sits on the Interventional Cardiology fellowship committee, where he trains future cardiologists.

Dr. E prides himself on practicing evidence-based medicine and providing cutting-edge technology in patient care. His interests include complex and high-risk coronary interventions, such as chronic total occlusions (CTOs) – completely blocked arteries requiring specialized equipment and techniques to reopen. He also specializes in complex coronary interventional procedures like atherectomy, bifurcation stenting, and the use of mechanical circulatory support in treating coronary artery disease.

Additionally, Dr. E routinely performs peripheral interventions to open blocked arteries in the legs and other parts of the body.

Believing that strong morals and values are essential to a fulfilling life, Dr. E practices ethical medicine. He strives to integrate patients’ wishes and needs with evidence-based practice, providing individualized solutions to a myriad of complex cardiovascular conditions.
