Stillwater Medical has been made aware that many BCBS members received letters stating SMC had terminated agreements with BCBS.  The letter was only intended for BlueLincs HMO members. Stillwater Medical will continue to remain in network with all other current BCBS PPO networks in our area.

“The only contract termination is for BlueLincs HMO and it will not be renewed effective March 1, 2018,” said Wendi Barrett, Director of Stillwater Medical Center’s Central Business Office. “We have notified Blue Cross of the error in their letter, and they are working on a solution to notify their members as we know this has caused great concern for our patients and we sincerely apologize.”
