SMC Opens New Outpatient Lab on 12th Street Campus

Stillwater Medical Center has opened a new outpatient lab on their 12th street campus. The lab is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with no appointment necessary.

“Anything sent to SMC or ordered by an SMC physician can be drawn at the new Plaza Lab,” said Shyla Eggers, Director of Public Relations.

The lab offers convenient parking, convenient access and a one stop location, with average time in and out at less than 10 minutes.

“With construction at SMC, the parking situation is only going to become more of an issue for our patients,” said Eggers. “If we can get more of our regular blood draws done at the 12th street location, not only will patients be more satisfied with the quick turnaround, they will also not have the frustration of finding a place to park.” 

Entrance to the lab is on the northeast corner of the largest building on 12th street, the same building as the pediatric clinic. Handicap parking is available right at the door and other spaces close by.
