If my family or I do have a medical emergency, I will not hesitate to come to SMC.

I just wanted to write and let you know how pleased I was with the care I received at SMC this week. I came in Monday morning around 1:30 am and had an appendectomy at 6 am. Both the ER doctor, Dr. Pence and Maya, worked very quickly to find the diagnosis and get me into surgery.
 
My nurses, Becky, Linda, Nikki, Joann, Barbara (I know there were others but I'm not able to remember everyone's names), took great care of me and made sure that I had everything I needed during all hours of the day and night.
 
Too many times people are so quick to complain about healthcare facilities, and unfortunately, that's what typically gets passed onto the healthcare workers. I just wanted to praise your staff and thank them for their great care and attention to my needs. Hopefully, I won't have to come back anytime soon! But if my family or I do have a medical emergency, I will not hesitate to come to SMC.
