As a family physician, Dr. Smith loves being able to provide care to not only a specific patient, but also to entire family units. This allows her to see the patient beyond symptoms and to really understand the person as a whole.

A rural Oklahoma native, Dr. Smith first began her education in physiology at Oklahoma State University and graduated with honors as one of the top ten graduating seniors. She then completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma and a family medicine residency and obstetrics fellowship at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa.

Dr. Smith feels privileged to practice medicine near her hometown of Newkirk, Oklahoma and provide health care to friends and family who supported and encouraged her to pursue a medical degree.

In her spare time she enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle with her husband and two children.
