Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Prior to attending medical school, he earned a bachelor of science degree in zoology at Oklahoma State University. He completed his internship and residency at the the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine. During his final year in the residency program he had the honor of serving as Chief Resident.

Having grown up in Stillwater, Dr. Johnson is pleased to have the opportunity to come back to serve the medical needs of his hometown. What he enjoys most about medicine is educating people about their health, so they are able to make their own decisions about their care based on the best available medical evidence, and according to their own values.

Outside of work, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and his German Shepard.
