Services Provided by Our Skilled, Caring Staff:

• All services offered within a 50 mile radius of Stillwater.
• Private care staff available seven days a week from 7am to 8pm.
• All employees have background checks prior to employment at Stillwater Medical Center.

• Registered Nurse on call 24hrs:
We have registered nurse to answer your questions and attent to your problems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Skilled Nursing:
Skilled services which may include assessment, teaching, wound care and dressing changes, injections, IV therapy, mother and infant care, diabetic, cardiac, and other nursing care.

• Home Infusion Therapy:
IV Therapy providing pain management, antibiotics, hydration and chemotherapy.

• Occupational Therapy:
Instruction in increasing abilities to live independently through activities of daily living such as dressing, feeding and self-care skills.

• Physical Therapy:
Rehabilitation services for stroke, cardiac and post surgery. Treatments, exercises, and instruction designed to improve the quality of your muscle tone, coordination, balance, strength, endurance and joint flexibility.

• Speech Therapy:
Evaluation, education and other services to those with speech and communication problems and swallowing difficulties.

• Medical Social Services:
Comprehensive counseling and coordination with other community agencies, public or private, are some of the services available from our social service staff.

• Nutrition Counseling:
Instructions by a registered dietitian for new diets including diabetic, cardiac and measures to improve nutrition to aid healing and health.

• Personal Care:
Assistance with personal care including bathing, skin care, walking, exercises, and simple household tasks by certified nurses aides under the supervision of professional staff.

To Be Eligible For Home Care Services:

• Must meet Medicare homebound criteria for coverage if Medicare.
•Require nursing care or rehabilitation therapy for a short time or intermittently.
•Treatment must be under physician's supervision.

Coverage of Services:

Medicare Benefits cover the cost for home health services as deemed reasonable, necessary, and ordered by your physician. Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay also are accepted.

Many private and group insurance plans cover home care services. Our staff researches your coverage and advises you which services your insurance or other source will cover. We bill private insurance carriers, Medicare and Medicaid directly for covered services.

Private duty services are available upon request.
