Stillwater Medical Center is pleased to announce Bethany Land as the January Employee of the Month. Bethany is a lab technician and has worked at SMC for 4 ½ years.
When asked how she felt about this honor, Bethany said, “I truly feel thankful for being chosen the employee of the month. SMC is a good place to work and I am thrilled to be part of such a great hospital.”
In her spare time, Bethany enjoys traveling, scuba diving, skiing, scrapbooking and working around the house.
“I love to travel,” said Bethany. “I am unable to pick one favorite vacation spot because I usually love any place I travel to. I spend a semester in Europe, so it holds a special place in my heart because of the fantastic memories that were made with wonderful people.”
Bethany greatly admires her mother.
“I have learned to appreciate all that she has done for her family over the years,” said Bethany. “I saw her continue to take care of her family when she was battling cancer and I saw how much she loved my dad when he lost his fight with cancer. She is an amazingly strong woman.”
