Stillwater Medical Center is pleased to announce Becky Talbott as the December Employee of the Month. Becky works as a CNA on the 5th floor and has been at SMC for over 23 years.
In her spare time, Becky enjoys reading, counted-cross-stitch, embroidery and playing board games with her family.
Becky has been married to her husband, Chuck, for 32 years. They have 2 sons, Lucas and Jared.
“I am the youngest of 5 children,” said Becky. “I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. I have a lot of family, especially nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.”
When asked how she felt about this honor, she said “It’s the greatest honor. I work with a great group of employees. We work as a team. We are like family.”
Becky said that she greatly admires her parents, even though they are both gone, for the good upbringing they provided her. She also admires her sister, Suzan.
“She is battling cancer for the 3rd time,” said Becky. “She stays so positive through it all.”
She also admires her mother-in-law, Hilda, for her positive attitude as well as the volunteers as SMC.
“I appreciate all they do for us,” she said.
